December 2006 Happy Holidays
Whatever That Means
Perhaps it is a time for blow out celebrations, the best champagne, and piles of presents and transforming your home into a show place.
Or maybe your idea of celebrating is hunkering down, taking advantage of the longer earlier nights as a time to devour books, and snuggle more.
Maybe you revisit your cultural roots by worshiping, reading and sharing ideas.
Or you decide to use December as a time to light every candle in your home, filling the cold and inky black with shimmering twinkle.
It is a time to celebrate children and, for all of us it is an opportunity to find and foster forgiveness.
Whatever your mode of celebration, religious, private or public frolic, it is certainly the time of year when we can take stock of all we have and to celebrate, in ways large and small.
All of us at Thrive nyc, the tiny staff and our far flung correspondents wish you and everyone you consider as yours, the most merry, joyful and peaceful holiday and new year.
